Danny K. Amundson age 61 of Fisher, MN passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, MN.
Danny Keith Amundson was born on October 13, 1948 in Roseau, MN the son of Dale and Florence (Krzoska) Amundson. Danny grew up in Watertown, SD and East Grand Forks, MN graduating with the Class of 1966 from East Grand Forks Senior High School. He worked at National Tea Grocery in East Grand Forks, MN as a Meat Cutter. Danny entered the United States Army and served his country during the Vietnam Conflict. On April 6, 1968 he was united in marriage to Edith Fiedler in Perham, MN. Danny owned and operated a grocery store in Oslo, MN and then owned and operated Tri County Refrigeration & Air Conditioning out of Alvarado, MN for several years before retiring.
Family members who survive Danny include his wife Edith of Fisher, MN, children, Trisa Amundson of Trevor, WI, Kristi (Danin) Sondrol of East Grand Forks, MN and Terry Amundson of Fisher, MN, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, siblings, Roger (Sandra) Amundson of East Grand Forks, MN, Elaine (Steve) Sipos of Lexington, KY, Ronald (Rita) Amundson, Debra Amundson and Dale Jr. (Darla) Amundson all of East Grand Forks, MN.
Danny is preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother Gerald Amundson.
